This 10–12 year old boy, listed as a cattle dog mix but resembling a kelpie, weighs just 25-30 pounds. He was heartbreakingly found abandoned outside a PetSmart, thin and with some hair loss that shows the tough road he’s walked.

Despite it all, Augie remains the sweetest companion. He gets along well with other dogs and has a calm, kind nature that shines through. What he needs now is a family who will show him that his best years are still ahead—someone to give him the love and comfort he’s always deserved.
