Rusty (AVAILABLE 8/31) - Maltese and Havanese Dog for Adoption in Leverett, Massachusetts

Rusty is a 2.5-year-old Maltese/Havapoo mix who somehow ended up being abandoned at a PetSmart groomer. His family dropped him off for a grooming appointment and simply never came back for him. We can't imagine how confusing that must have been for this sweet little guy, but thankfully Rusty is ready to put that chapter behind him and find the people who will never leave him behind again.

Rusty is an absolute sweetheart who LOVES being with people. He's affectionate, friendly, and happiest when he's hanging out with his humans. He also does well with other dogs, although he may occasionally try to remind them that he has a little bit of a... romantic personality. We're hoping some of that enthusiasm disappears once he's neutered!

If you're looking for a little companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side, Rusty might be your guy. He's been through enough uncertainty. Now he deserves a family who will love him for life.
