Baja Blast was born June 29 and is a purebred English Labrador. He's just a little guy right now, but he's already got all the ingredients to grow into the loyal, goofy, loving Lab everyone dreams of. Expect puppy antics, zoomies, snuggles, and eventually a full-sized dog who is convinced he's still a lap puppy.

Baja Blast was born with a small cleft palate. Thankfully, it isn't slowing him down, but his future family should understand that cleft palates can require special consideration and veterinary care as he grows.

Because of this, Baja Blast is listed as a special-needs adoption. Potential adopters should research cleft palates in dogs before applying and be prepared for the possibility that surgical repair may be recommended in the future. His family will need to be comfortable with any additional care involved and financially prepared to address potential medical needs related to his cleft palate.
