**Meet Samuel **

Samuel may not live on top of Mount Crumpit, but this **approximately 7-year-old, 22-lb fluffy little Grinch** is hoping to find the family who will help his heart grow a few sizes.

Found as a stray and brought to ACCT Philly, Samuel was given a fresh start with us. He’s a bit of an old, grumpy man, and honestly, we love him for it.

Samuel isn’t looking to be the life of the Whobilation. He doesn’t feel the need to make friends with everyone he meets and tends to keep to himself until he decides you’re worthy of making his nice list. But with the volunteers he knows and trusts, we’ve seen the sweet, loyal boy hiding underneath that Grinchy exterior.

Samuel enjoys slow strolls, sniffing around outside, and simply hanging out with his chosen people. He’s not asking for a big, bustling social life. He just needs **a patient person or family willing to give him the time and space to feel safe, build trust, and finally belong.**

Maybe Samuel doesn’t need Christmas to come from a store. Maybe what he needs most is exactly what the Grinch discovered all along: **someone to love, somewhere to belong, and a chance for his heart to grow.**
