Goldie is a darling Maltese mix weighing about 5 pounds. While she is tiny in stature, she has the biggest heart and so much love to give. Goldie came from a hoarding situation, so she's still learning how to feel safe in the world. She is currently working on potty training and building confidence in new environments, so she will need an adopter who is patient, willing to take things slow, and committed to helping her continue to grow.

Goldie forms a very close bond with her person and loves being right by your side. She also has a goofy side that shines when she's around another small dog--she enjoys wrestling, zooming around, and then curling up for a cozy snooze. She gets along great with dogs of all sizes and does well with cats, too. Because loud noises and lots of commotion can make her nervous, Goldie would do best in a home with older children or in a quieter, no-kid environment.

Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process.
