Meet Shadow 🌙 - Your Gentle, Golden-Hearted Companion

Shadow is an 8-10-month-old Labrador mix with a gentle, sensitive nature and the sweetest personality. Currently about 18 lbs and expected to grow into a medium-sized dog, he's still gaining weight and confidence. Shadow can be shy at first, but with a little patience he quickly becomes very affectionate and loves staying close to his person. He's a quiet pup who enjoys gentle affection, exploring at his own pace, and chewing on his favorite toys.

He is crate trained and finds comfort in his crate, and he's making great progress with house training as he transitions from pee pads to going outside. Shadow walks nicely on a leash, is food motivated, and is learning basic commands. He has a medium energy level and enjoys daily walks, playtime, and relaxing near his people. He does well with other dogs and would likely do well with calm, gentle children, but he is shy with strangers and needs slow introductions.

Shadow would thrive in a calm, patient home that can give him the time and love he needs to build confidence. Once he trusts you, he becomes a deeply loyal and loving companion.

Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200.
