DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Pup Joy! Joy's journey to a better life began in Alabama, where she was found alongside another dog, Goldie, who we believe is her mother (pic included). The two ended up in a crowded shelter, but thanks to K-9 Lifesavers, they now have a second chance and are each looking for loving forever homes.

Joy appears to be a Lab and Carolina Dog mix, and she is 100% adorable and lovable! She has the sweetest personality and, unlike many puppies her age, is surprisingly calm and easygoing. Joy gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would make a fantastic addition to just about any family. As a young puppy, Joy is at the perfect age for training, socialization, and bonding with her forever family. She is ready to grow into a loyal, loving companion who will bring years of happiness to the lucky person or family who adopts her.

If you're looking for a sweet, gentle puppy to fill your home with love and tail wags, Pup Joy is ready to meet you. Apply today!

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.

Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
