DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Pup Georgie! Georgie was rescued from a crowded shelter in Alabama by K-9 Lifesavers and is now ready to find the loving forever home he deserves.

Georgie appears to be a Catahoula-Hound mix with a stunning brindle and white spotted coat that truly makes him stand out from the crowd. Not only is he incredibly handsome, but he has an equally wonderful personality. Georgie is an extremely sweet puppy who loves making new friends and gets along great with other dogs.

At his young age, Georgie is in the perfect stage for training, socialization, and learning all the skills he'll need to become an amazing lifelong companion. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.

Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
