Bella - Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Valparaiso, Indiana

Bella is an almost 9-year-old Yellow Lab weighing around 61 pounds, but don’t let her age fool you—this sweet girl still has plenty of pep in her step!

Bella is a loving girl who enjoys being close to her people and will happily lean right into you when she’s getting pets. She can be a little anxious, especially while adjusting to everything around her, so she’ll need a family willing to give her some patience, reassurance, and time to feel comfortable.

From what we’ve observed, Bella may enjoy having another dog around and would likely do well in a home with children. Of course, we’re still getting to know her and learning more about what makes her happiest.

Sadly, Bella arrived at the shelter already microchipped, but despite our efforts, we were unable to locate her owner.

Bella may be a little older, but she still has plenty of love to give. She’s ready for a family who will appreciate her sweet nature and give her the comfort and security she deserves.

Because most of our dogs arrive as strays, we cannot guarantee that any dog is housetrained.
