Meet Snow White!

Snow White is a sweet 10 year old girl weighing around 30 pounds who came to us with a group of Beagle/Basset mixes found running in the same area. Sadly, none were reclaimed, so we suspect they may have been dumped. We have a feeling Snow White may have been the mama of the group.

Of the bunch, Snow White is probably the most outgoing, but she's still a shy girl who needs a little time to feel comfortable. We're starting to see glimpses of her playful side, and those moments are absolutely precious.

Like Doc and Dopey, Snow White will need a patient family willing to give her time to decompress, build confidence, and adjust to life outside the shelter. She may not immediately show you everything she has to offer, but we believe there's a sweet, playful girl waiting to come out of her shell.

Snow White deserves a quiet, loving home where she can finally feel safe and learn what it means to be someone's cherished companion.

Sometimes the shy ones just need someone willing to wait for their heart to open.

Because most of our dogs come to us as strays, we cannot guarantee that they are house-trained.

The Basset Hound is a unique and recognizable breed known for its long body, droopy ears, and soulful eyes. Despite their laid back and affectionate nature, Basset Hounds are also persistent and independent thinkers, which can make training a bit challenging. The Beagle is a beloved breed known for its friendly nature, curious personality, and distinctive howl. These small to medium sized dogs are incredibly sociable and get along well with both humans and other pets. Beagles are curious and energetic, always eager to follow a scent with their incredible sense of smell, making them excellent hunting and tracking dogs.
