Meet Nyla ! The Girl Who Just Wants to Be Someone’s Everything
Some dogs come into rescue because they were abandoned.
Some come in because they were found wandering the streets.

And then there are dogs like Nyla, dogs who were loved, but whose person’s life was changing, and someone had to make the heartbreaking decision to ask for help.
And when Nyla needed us, we stepped up.

Nyla is an absolutely breathtaking icy gray and white beauty, estimated to be around 3 years old. We believe she may be a Lab/Pittie/Greyhound mix, but honestly, whatever the recipe was, they got it very right.
But Nyla’s beauty is nothing compared to what’s underneath it.
This girl is a heart dog.
She is unbelievably sweet. Ridiculously loyal. The kind of dog who wants to be near her person, be included in whatever you're doing, and simply know that she belongs. She has this incredible way of making you feel like you've been her person forever!
And Nyla has so much love to give.


She is wonderful with small children and absolutely loves cats. She enjoys her toys, thinks fetch is fantastic, and — believe it or not — this girl can SWIM!
She is also an absolute dream when it comes to adventures. Nyla is fantastic on leash and wonderful in the car, making her the perfect companion for walks, errands, road trips, or simply riding along with her favorite person.
There is just one thing Nyla needs her forever family to understand:
Nyla would like to be your one and only dog!


She spent her life as an apartment dog and unfortunately didn't receive the proper socialization with other dogs that she needed. Because of that, she isn't comfortable sharing her home with other dogs.
And that's okay.
Because Nyla doesn't need a house full of dogs.


She just needs one person who will make her their whole world.
Nyla wasn't a stray. She wasn't tossed away because she wasn't good enough.
Her mom made the incredibly difficult decision to pursue her dream of becoming a Marine, and she knew that before taking that next step in her life, she needed to make sure Nyla was safe.


She could have ended up scared and confused inside a shelter.
Instead, Nyla came to us.
We promised her that this wouldn't be the end of her story.
It would be the beginning of it.
And now she's waiting for the chapter we've been hoping for all along:
The one where she finally gets her forever.


Nyla has already lost the person she knew.
She has already had her world change.
Now she deserves the kind of ending where someone chooses her — completely, intentionally, and forever.
She deserves a family who looks at those beautiful eyes and says:
“You're home now, baby. You're not going anywhere.”


Nyla is fully vetted and ready to go home.
All she needs is someone willing to give her the one thing she's been waiting for!
