Meet Daniel aka Danny Boy!
Brown eyes, a goofy smile, a heart of gold, and one very important talent: the art of the ambidextrous handshake.

Danny, one of the lucky ones who survived death row at a Houston shelter and got his second chance with us. And let us tell you... this boy is ready to make the absolute most of it!
Danny is ridiculously sweet, incredibly well-mannered, and lover-boy central!

His favorite pastime is giving you his paw. And when we say he gives you his paw, we mean he has mastered the art of switching it up. Left paw? Right paw? Danny chooses. You simply accept the paw, give it a shake, praise him like the superstar he is, and watch that enormous goofy smile appear across his face!
It is, without a doubt, one of his proudest accomplishments!

Danny is the kind of dog who wants to be involved in everything his person is doing. He loves car rides, playing fetch, watching TV, and being as close to his human as physically possible. Personal space? Danny has never heard of it.
His preferred sleeping arrangement is simple: one human, one pillow, and Danny taking approximately 87% of it. Sharing is caring, after all!!

Danny does need to be the ONLY furry child in his forever home. He does not like nor appreciate other animals, which we believe may stem from a lack of proper socialization when he was younger. While that means Danny isn't the guy for a multi-pet household, it certainly doesn't make him any less wonderful. In fact, he is an absolutely fabulous dog who deserves a fabulous family of his own.

Now we all know women don’t like to talk about age, well apparently Danny doesn’t either!
We're not quite sure exactly how old Danny is, but we do know one thing: this mature, energy-filled boy is ready for his forever adventure!

We offer transport to any US state any of our rescues have an approved adopter in, we also offer virtual meet and greets so you can see Mr. Professional Handshaker in real time! Transport fees are including in the adoption fee listed!

The husky breed is renowned for its striking appearance, characterized by piercing eyes and a thick double coat. These medium sized, energetic dogs are known for their friendly and outgoing personalities, making them wonderful companions for active families. Originally bred for sledding and endurance in cold climates, huskies are intelligent and independent, often displaying a strong prey drive. Proper training and regular exercise are crucial to keep these playful and social animals happy and well adjusted.
