Buddy - Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Newport, Washington

Calling all Lab lovers!

Ok, we know he's not an Aussie, but when a previous adopter sends us pictures and a sad story, we must do what we can!!! This sweet baby is Buddy, about 4.5-years old. He found himself homeless because his dad had to enter memory care. Buddy is AKC registered, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He's house trained and good with other dogs. Buddy thinks FETCH is LIFE, enjoys earning snacks, and is friendly with all people. He has never lived with cats. He has not had a lot of training so may be a bit much for very young kiddos but he would love older kids who can play with him.

Buddy will thrive with some training and one-on-one attention. With his eager to please attitude he will make someone a wonderful companion. He has potential for doggy sports (he is a lab after all) or possibly search and rescue/service dog. We have wonderful volunteer drivers who would be happy to help transport Buddy to approved adopters anywhere in the Pacific NW.
