Buddy and Sophie - Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Newport, Washington

Calling all Lab lovers!!
Ok, we know they're not Aussies but when a previous adopter sends us pictures and a sad story, we must do what we can!!! These sweet babies find themselves homeless because their dad had to enter memory care. They are not a bonded pair so would be happy whether adopted together or separately. They are AKC registered, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. They're house trained and good with other dogs. They both think FETCH is LIFE, enjoy earning snacks, and are friendly with all people. They have never lived with cats. They haven't had a lot of training so may be a bit much for very young kiddos but they would love older kids who can play with them. Buddy is black and he's 4.5 years old. Sophie is the yellow girl, and she's 6.5 yrs old. Either of these dogs will thrive with some training and some one-on-one attention. With their eager to please attitude they will make wonderful pets, potential sport partners, or possibly search and rescue or service dogs. We have wonderful volunteer drivers who would be happy to help transport to approved adopters anywhere in the Pacific NW.
