Steven - Labrador Retriever and Yellow Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Middletown, Rhode Island

Meet Steven! This handsome, big boy is around 7 years old, and he weighs about 80 pounds. Steven is a well-mannered boy who is over all the foolishness young dogs can bring into a home. Steven is looking for a nice comfortable home and an adoring family to enjoy his golden years with.

Steven is older but still has plenty of energy. He probably isn’t your boy if you need a hiking or running partner, but he would enjoy some leisurely walks around his neighborhood.

Steven is a super friendly boy who happily meets new people; he is polite and does not jump. He barks when joining with other dogs in play, but he does not instigate. Steven likes car rides and will put his head through the sunroof.

At playtime, Steven enjoys a stuffed toy or a Nylabone but has no interest in a ball. He is great with other dogs and is totally cat friendly! He hasn’t been in a home with children but with his calm demeanor, his foster believes he would be wonderful with any age!

Steven is truly a mellow guy and while he is not really slow now, he will probably be looking for a nice retirement plan in the not-so-distant future. Steven is so sweet, his new family will be lucky to offer him a soft place to land and live out his golden years!

Steven is available for adoption in RI on, or after, November 6th, 2026
