Buster 26-092 - Labrador Retriever and Spaniel Dog for Adoption in Little Rock, Arkansas

Meet Buster
Buster is a 3-year-old Lab mix with a gentle heart and a whole lot of love to give. His journey to rescue is a bit of a mystery-he found himself at a local shelter under protective custody, and unfortunately, we don't know the circumstances that brought him there. What we do know is that Buster spent more than a month waiting at the shelter before he was finally available for rescue.
Now that Buster is getting his second chance, he's showing everyone just how wonderful he is.
Sweet, polite, and easygoing, Buster is the kind of dog who makes friends wherever he goes. He adores people and is happiest when he's getting attention from his humans. He's also great with other dogs and enjoys their company.
And if you happen to have treats or food nearby? Well, you've just become Buster's new best friend! He's very treat-motivated, which should make continuing his training a fun and rewarding experience.
Most of all, Buster is simply a loving, gentle boy who is ready to leave his uncertain past behind and start the next chapter of his life. He deserves a family who will show him how wonderful life can be-and in return, Buster will give them plenty of love, loyalty, and companionship.
Could Buster be the sweet boy you've been waiting for?

Buster is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $300.

Buster is in the Paws in Prison program, where he receives basic obedience training. He will graduate from Paws in Prison on 12/5/2026. The dogs in this program are provided basic level training under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. So, there will be an adjustment period as they adjust to their new family schedule.

For this reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive his training journal. This journal documents his arrival from the shelter, daily training progress, and interactions with the trainers.

If you are interested in meeting Buster or learning more about our adoption process, please submit an adoption application. Thank you!
