Brownie II 26-088 - Shepherd and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Little Rock, Arkansas

Brownie is a sweet 1-year-old Shepherd mix weighing around 40 pounds, and she is already showing us what a wonderful companion she can be.
We don't know much about Brownie's past. She came to the local shelter as part of a court case, and we're still learning more about the circumstances that brought her there. What matters most now is that Brownie is safe, loved, and getting the chance to start a new chapter.
What a great girl she is! Brownie is smart, sweet, and incredibly polite. She loves making new friends and is happy to meet both people and other dogs. She has a relatively laid-back demeanor and seems to take new experiences in stride.
Even though we're still getting to know her personality, Brownie has already checked all of our boxes for what makes a great CARE dog. She has the kind of wonderful temperament we love to see in our rescue dogs, and we think she is going to continue to shine as she gets more comfortable and confident.
Brownie is ready to put her past behind her and discover all the good things life has to offer. If you're looking for a smart, sweet, easygoing companion who loves making friends, Brownie could be the girl for you!

Brownie is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $300.

Brownie is in the Paws in Prison program, where she receives basic obedience training. She will graduate from Paws in Prison on 11/14/2026. The dogs in this program are provided basic level training under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. So, there will be an adjustment period as they adjust to their new family schedule.

For this reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive his training journal. This journal documents his arrival from the shelter, daily training progress, and interactions with the trainers.
