• Originally rescued from Mississippi alongside mom Matilda and her siblings — part of the Matilda's Muffins crew — Violet was returned by her previous adopter and dropped off at a local shelter. The shelter reached out to us, we went and got her, and now this sweet girl is safe in a loving foster home and ready to find the forever family she deserves
• Loves people and genuinely wants to be wherever her humans are
• Playful and toy motivated with a smart side — she already knows "sit" and is food motivated, which makes learning new things a breeze
• Great on leash using an EZ walk harness and hops in the car all by herself (though she has been known to quietly claim the front seat)
• Crate trained — sleeps through the night without a fuss and settles calmly in her crate when her foster is away for longer stretches
• Housebroken and does great when gated in the kitchen/dining room area
• Dog friendly — met a house full of dogs and had a wonderful time, especially with her pal Archer
• Has not been assessed with cats yet
• Looking for a loving and committed forever home to provide her with the care and love she deserves
