Hi, I'm Tucker, and I'm a pretty special guy! I'm a 3-year-old chocolate Lab weighing in at 62 pounds of sleek, handsome perfection. I've been with my family since I was just 8 weeks old, and this isn't the future anyone imagined for me. Because of some very unexpected and heartbreaking life changes, I'm looking for a new family to love.

If you're looking for a happy, fun-loving companion, I think we should meet! I have a big bark, but it's all sugar and no spice. My favorite things are riding in the car, going for walks, playing fetch, showing off my favorite toys (I'll proudly bring them right to you!), and, of course, snuggling with my people. After a day of fun, I'm perfectly happy to flop over for belly rubs or curl up in my crate for a nice nap.

I've been through training and even went to doggy daycare to help me burn off my classic chocolate Lab energy. I'd love a family that enjoys being active and wants a buddy to join in on adventures. Whether we're exploring a trail, tossing a ball around the yard, or just hanging out together, I'm happiest when I'm with my people.

A fenced yard would be a wonderful bonus so I can safely stretch my legs, although I do have good recall. One thing you'll want to know is that I can be quick to dart out an open door, so it's important to keep an eye on me coming and going.

As for cats...well, my family thinks I probably wouldn't be the best match. I've been known to chase squirrels and birds, and I've tried chasing other critters before, so a home without cats would likely be the safest choice.

I'm healthy, have no special needs, and I'm ready to give my whole heart to someone who will love me as much as I'll love them. If you're looking for a loyal best friend with a goofy personality, a gentle heart, and plenty of love to share, I just might be your perfect match.
