Echo - Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Gainesville, Texas

Echo doesn’t need much to be happy—some gentle pets, a soft place to rest, and her favorite people nearby. She is almost 4 years old and weighs 89 pounds, and we suspect she is a Labrador Retriever mix. With her pretty face, soft coat, and loving personality, she’s an easy girl to fall for.

Echo has gotten along well with the other dogs at the shelter and prefers friends who are more laid-back. Another calm dog in her future home would be a plus! She enjoys affection and is happy simply being in the presence of her people.

Echo does have separation anxiety and can be destructive when left alone. She will need a patient family willing to help her feel comfortable with time apart and provide a safe, dog-proofed space when they’re away. A crate may be an option if she is comfortable in one. She has so much love to give and deserves a family who understands that learning to feel secure takes time.

Echo is located in Gainesville, TX, but we offer transportation services all over the U.S. Out-of-state adopters are welcome to schedule a FaceTime meet-and-greet with her before adoption.
