Mikita - Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Downers Grove, Illinois

Meet Mikita! This 9-month-old Great Dane mix is a whole lot of puppy wrapped up in a big, sweet package. She loves playing with kids, has plenty of personality, and is equal parts lovable goofball and mischievous troublemaker. She's also a bit unsure of the big world outside and needs some time, patience, and encouragement to build her confidence.

Her foster has been working hard on helping her learn her manners and settle into a routine, and she's already making progress! A patient, active family willing to give her structure, affection, and time to find her feet will help Mikita blossom. A confident, friendly dog could also be a great companion as she learns to navigate the world and feel more comfortable around other dogs.

Mikita will need a few weeks to settle into a new home and feel safe enough to let her full personality shine. Give her a little grace, a lot of love, and room to grow, and you'll have a sweet, silly girl who's ready to take on the world one adventure at a time. She may not have all her manners mastered just yet, but she has so much potential and so much love to give. Apply to meet Mikita today!
