Simba - Miniature Poodle Dog for Adoption in Downers Grove, Illinois

Hi there! I'm Simba, an 8-year-old toy poodle mix with a big personality packed into my little body! I may be a senior gentleman, but I still have plenty of spunk and a few opinions of my own.

I'll admit, I can be a little sassy at times, and loud voices or situations that scare me can make me feel nervous. Because I need a calm, patient home where I feel safe and understood, I'm looking for a family with no young children.

I'm also a bit of a chatterbox who likes to let you know what's happening around the neighborhood. That means I'd be happiest in a house rather than an apartment or condo where my barking might disturb the neighbors.

The good news? I get along with other dogs, although my feelings about cats are still a mystery. I walk nicely on a leash, but if you have a fenced yard, I'd love the chance to stretch my little legs and zoom around!

When the adventures are over, I'm all about the cozy life. If you'd like a snuggle buddy, I'm happy to curl up beside you in your favorite chair. Prefer a little space? No problem! I'm perfectly content to curl up on my own, too. I'm an independent little guy who appreciates companionship on my terms.

I know I'm not the right match for every home, but with a patient heart, a peaceful environment, and someone who understands my quirks, I could be your perfect little companion. Apply to meet me today!
