Sugar Maple - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Downers Grove, Illinois

Sugar Maple is a sweet and gentle girl looking for a quiet comfortable home. While she loves people, she seems to have limited experience living in a home and can get nervous of new things on occasion. But she adjusts very well with a little time and reassurance (AKA extra pets). And she will reward all those pets with the loudest purrs and daily biscuits. She wears her heart on her sleeve, so she is relatively easy to read. She may grumble at outside noises, vibrate her tail when she is excited, or even give you a gentle nibble to ask for more pets... or redirect your petting style... sweeping head to tail pets are the preferred method. She absolutely loves the feather wand and has the sweetest meows that only come out for wand time. She will often follow you around weaving between your feet but also appreciates a good, quiet, independent nap. She is a simple sweet girl who is just looking for peace and companionship.
