Meet Kaily — a mellow girl with a BIG heart !

At 8 years old, Kaily finds herself looking for a new forever home due to health issues affecting her longtime best friend. Its a big change for this sweet girl, but she has settled beautifully into foster care and is showing everyone just how much love she has to give.

Kailys number-one favorite thing is her people. Once she decides youre her friend, she is ALL IN. She loves being petted, curling up in your arms and giving plenty of kisses — and we do mean plenty. If theres an available piece of you to lick, Kaily will find it!

She is good with other dogs and has been trying to convince her fosters Lab to play, although theyre still working out exactly what their game is supposed to be. She loves her rope toys, chasing balls and going for walks. Shes great on leash, but squirrels, cats and other wildlife definitely get her attention, so expect some barking and an enthusiastic desire to chase.

Kaily is fully housebroken and has had no accidents in her foster home. She was never crated in her previous home, and her foster hasnt found any reason to start now — Kaily would probably be a little insulted by the suggestion! She is trustworthy loose in the house, sleeps quietly through the night on her own bed or the floor, and has done well home alone for at least four hours.

And while many Labs consider water a personality trait, Kaily respectfully declines. Shell happily chase her foster sibling around the pool, but actually getting wet? No, thank you. Even when the other dog shakes off nearby, Kaily heads for higher ground! Shes also not a fan of loud things like the vacuum.

Kaily loves her food and has a healthy appetite, but she has been respectful in the house and hasnt gotten into things she shouldnt. You may, however, catch that nose stretching suspiciously high in the kitchen when something smells particularly good.

Kaily is a mellow, affectionate, funny and incredibly sweet girl who deserves a loving home where she can settle in, feel secure and share that enormous heart of hers with her new family.
