Meet Jess, a 5-month-old, 23-pound bundle of fun with all the lovable qualities you expect from a Lab! While he may be a Lab mix, his personality is 100% Labrador—happy, affectionate, playful, and always ready for his next adventure.

Jess is a smart, food-motivated pup who is doing wonderfully with potty training and sleeps quietly through the night in his crate. During the day, hed much rather be with his people than hanging out in his crate, which is pretty typical for a social puppy!

Like any young Lab, Jess loves to retrieve anything he can find. Hes still learning the difference between dog toys, kids toys, and the occasional shoe, so puppy-proofing and a sense of humor are recommended! Hes also working on keeping all four paws on the floor instead of greeting everyone with enthusiastic jumps.

Jess is being fostered with an adult dog, a cat, and young children. He gets along well with other dogs and is learning to respect the cats boundaries. Hes very friendly with kids but, because hes still a bouncy puppy who may snag a snack or toy if given the chance, we think hed do best with older children who can help reinforce his training.

After a good play session, Jess is famous for crashing at your feet in the funniest sleeping positions. Hes equal parts goofy, sweet, and loving, and hes sure to keep his future family smiling every day.
