Drake is a stunning 4-year-old fox red Lab who is likely a purebred Labrador from hunting lines. At 70 pounds, hes a big, handsome boy who is past the teenage puppy years and brings a calmer, sweeter approach to everyday life.

Drake is fully housebroken with excellent potty manners and already has a great obedience foundation. He knows sit, down, stay, wait, come and drop it, has very good recall both indoors and out, and walks nicely on leash. His intelligence really shines, and he continues to make progress with more advanced obedience skills.

He has that classic joyful Lab outlook on life — whether hes playing in the backyard, chasing a ball, carrying around a stuffed toy or settling in for a morning nap. He loves his bones and appropriate chew toys and is very responsive to both treats and praise.

Drake also rides beautifully in the car or truck and sleeps comfortably on a dog bed at night. Hes dog friendly, has done well with children, and would love an active family who enjoys spending time outdoors and wants a big Lab companion along for the adventure.

Like many Labs, Drake has had some ongoing ear issues and a possible food sensitivity. He has done well since switching to a food formulated for dogs with sensitive skin and stomachs, and his foster can provide more information to interested families.
