Meet Mona!
Mona is a gentle, calm girl who was surrendered to the Lexington County shelter in South Carolina after being found living without food or water for several days. Despite everything she has been through, she remains incredibly sweet, loving, and trusting.
According to her current caretaker, Mona is quiet and easygoing, housebroken, and walks beautifully on a leash. And one of her most endearing qualities? She never barks!
Mona gets along very well with other dogs and has an easygoing, peaceful nature. She truly is a wonderful dog!
We believe Mona is a 5-year-old Lab/Black Mouth Cur mix who weighs about 53 pounds. She is current on her vaccinations and is scheduled to be spayed within the next week or so.
After such a rough patch, Mona deserves a fresh beginning with someone who will make sure she always feels safe, cared for, and loved. She will make a wonderful family companion.
