Meet Hank!
Hank is a sweet, playful, and curious young pup with so much excitement for life—and for learning! He was rescued from the Davidson County shelter in North Carolina along with five other dogs.

At just one year old and about 30 pounds, Hank is the perfect smaller-sized blend of the “All-American Dog.” We’re still working on identifying his breed mix, but whatever his DNA may be, the result is one wonderful dog!

Hank is fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and his neuter appointment is being scheduled.

If you’re looking for a lifelong pal and an expert snuggle buddy, Hank may be your guy. He is smart, eager to learn, affectionate, and loves both people and other dogs. He may be a little shy at first, but once he realizes he is safe and loved, his sweet personality really shines.

Hank is a huge fan of treats and squeaky stuffies, as you can see in some of his pictures. He walks well on a leash, although he does like to stop frequently and smell all the wonderful smells along the way. Taking in the world around him is definitely one of his favorite parts of a walk!

He also loves to run and play and would do well with children or another active dog. And when Mr. Hank has finally run down his battery, he’s happy to hunker down and snooze cuddled up next to his person.
