Persimmon (Percy) - Labrador Retriever and Pit Bull Terrier Dog for Adoption in Cedarburg, Wisconsin

MEET PERSIMMON (SIMMI)!
Persimmon, Simmi for short, is a sweet little girl who got a second chance at life thanks to Roadside Rescue Mutts, a local dog rescue in Mississippi, who swooped in just in time to save her from euthanasia.

Simmi was found as a stray in rural Mississippi and ended up at a kill shelter in early September.

Thankfully, she hitched a ride to Wisconsin with Mutt Life Dog Rescue and is now settling into her foster home in Menomonee Falls!

Now Simmi is learning all about the good life of being a loved family dog, and she’s doing great!

She’s super sweet, playful, and eager to please. She loves attention and is a smart girl who is VERY food motivated. She already understands “no” and just learned “sit,” so we think she’ll be a fun little student!

Simmi is currently living with several other dogs and gets along great with everyone! She’s good with kids and is expected to do well with cats, too, with proper introductions. She’s learning all about home life and is doing well with her potty training, crate training, and leash manners.

She’s still a puppy, so she’ll need a family ready to continue her training and help her learn as she grows.

With her sweet personality, playful nature, and eagerness to learn, Simmi has all the makings of
a wonderful companion. She went from a stray in Mississippi to getting a second
chance in
Wisconsin. Now all she needs is a family to call her own!
