Mississippi Puppy Litter Needs Foster or Adopter to Secure Their Ride to Wisconsin
These 10 sweet puppies are currently in Mississippi and need fosters or adopters to secure their spots on a future transport to Cedarburg, WI with Mutt Life Dog Rescue. Transportation is still being finalized, but we expect them to make their way to Wisconsin before the end of August. A committed home is needed for these puppies to make the trip north, and were hopeful the right families are out there.
Meet the Mississippi Puppies
About a month ago, the rescue received a call about a litter of 10 puppies needing to be surrendered. Unfortunately, they were later found dumped on the side of a rural road in Mississippi, left to fend for themselves. We believe these may be the same puppies.
Thankfully, they were rescued and now have a chance at a fresh start. These puppies are approximately 2-3 months old, weigh around 10 pounds each, and are Lab mixes. There are 4 females and 6 males.
They are typical happy, playful puppies who are friendly, curious, and love being around people. They are at the perfect age to start learning and experiencing all the good things life has to offer.
Like any young puppies, they will need families prepared for puppyhood, including continued house training, crate training, leash work, socialization, and plenty of patience. They are sweet babies who just need someone willing to give them the time and guidance they deserve.
Age: Approximately 2-3 months
Gender: 4 females, 6 males
Weight: Approximately 10 lbs
Breed: Lab mix
Spayed/Neutered: Scheduled before transport
Potty Trained: Not yet
Crate Trained: Still learning
Leash Manners: Still learning
Good with Dogs: Yes
Good with Cats: Yes
Good with Kids: Yes
These puppies are ready for their next chapter, but they need committed foster or adoptive homes in Wisconsin to make it here.
If you can open your home to one of these puppies, please apply today.

4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue.
5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process we conduct a home visit either in person or via zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have.
