Rowan is your classic happy-go-lucky puppy, but he’s got his own little twist that makes him stand out. At 3 months old, this all‐black boy with those striking brindle legs is a whirlwind of playtime, tail wags, and goofy enthusiasm. He throws himself into every game like it’s the best one he’s ever played, and he has a signature move — a bouncy, full‐body wiggle — that he uses whenever he’s excited, which is pretty much all the time.

He’s wonderful with other dogs, gentle and patient with kids, and always ready to make a new friend. Rowan has that sweet, earnest way of looking at you like he’s trying his very hardest to understand what you’re saying, right before he zooms off to chase a toy or flop into your lap. He’s the perfect mix of silly, social, and snuggly, a pup who brings warmth and laughter into any home.

HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life!
