At 3 months old and 21 pounds, this Beagle mix is full of personality, curiosity and growing confidence. Allen is discovering the world one tail wag at a time, and he’s quickly turning into a little firecracker with a heart full of love. He walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys getting out to explore, taking in everything around him with bright, attentive eyes. Every day he becomes a little more outgoing, a little more playful and a little more sure of himself.

Allen is still learning the ropes when it comes to toys and play, but he is figuring it out quickly. He loves rolling in the grass, pouncing on little surprises and finding joy in the simplest moments. And when he’s happy, he doesn’t hide it. His tail goes nonstop, he leans in for affection and he happily gives sweet puppy kisses to the people he trusts.

He has a gentle sweetness paired with a spark of fun that shines more each day; especially in the presence of other dogs. Allen feels much more confident with a canine friend near by. Allen is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped.

HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life!
