Your day just got a whole lot sweeter! Meet Bonnie Biscotti, a 2.5-year-old Lab/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, weighing 57 pounds (as of 5/9/26). Despite her delicious last name, Bonnie does not come from Italy, but was found as a stray in Tennessee before she found her way to the pound and then a foster's home. This girl's as sweet as the cookie she's named after and she can't wait to find her fur-ever home with you!
We asked Bonnie's friends for a review and she got five paws up! Snuggly and gentle, Bonnie has a loving heart and a quiet charm about her. She may be a little shy when you first meet her, but if you give her some time, you’ll see her blossom into a loving, loyal companion who truly enjoys being close to her people. And honestly, nothing's better than snuggling next to this girl after a long day of work or school. Bonnie will even bake you cookies to say "hello!" At home, Bonnie prefers to peacefully enjoy her meals on her own, preferably with biscotti and tea. We're happy to report she's also ready to go for house-living. She's well-mannered, leash trained, crate trained, and house trained. There's nothing this girl can't do! Except whistle. She's tried.
Bonnie's great with other dogs and cats. She doesn't have experience with kids yet, but she hopes to become their friend too! If you're looking for a dog who's calm, independent, soft, affectionate and a great dessert baker, you've struck the jackpot with Bonnie Biscotti! Lucky you!
All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.
Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
