The Doctor is in! Meet Destiny Momma Dolittle, a 3-year-old Husky / Lab mix, weighing 48 pounds (as of 4/26/26). Destiny Momma Dolittle was found as a stray in Tennessee with her DOLITTLE pups. This lady's not only a momma, but she's also a doctor! Her speciality? Healing the dog-sized hole in your heart!
Destiny is a beautiful girl who raised her pups to be contributing members of society. Now that her babies are old enough to have their own medical practice, Destiny is ready for a family of her own. She has a mild mannered temperament and is very easy to get along with. She also gets along with other dogs, especially Bo Bravo (also adoptable) who she was brought in with.
Destiny greets everyone she meets with ease, as if she’s known them forever which is why she's such a great physician. While she hasn't met cats or kids yet, they're more than welcome to get a check up from the doc! She'll even give them stickers for being so brave! Destiny is good on leashes, great in her kennel and while her original foster had her working on house training, training will need to continue once she joins your home.
Do a little dance with Destiny Momma Dolittle!
All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.
Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
