Sugar - Jack Russell Terrier and Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Brockport, New York

Meet Sugar!

Sugar is a 2-year-old, smaller medium-sized terrier mix who is every bit as sweet as her name suggests. She is a gentle, affectionate girl who loves people of all sizes and is always happy to make a new friend.

Sugar is house trained, walks nicely on a leash, and absolutely loves going for walks. She’s also learning her basic commands and is eager to please — although, like any young dog, she may occasionally forget everything she knows when there are too many exciting distractions around!

She is doing wonderfully with the other animals in her foster home. She gets along with the cat and politely ignores the piglets and chickens. She’s even beginning to discover the wonderful world of bones and chew toys.

Sugar has a curious side and enjoys investigating everything around the room, but after she’s finished checking things out, she’s more than happy to come back and curl up beside her people on the couch.

Sweet, affectionate, curious, and eager to learn, Sugar is ready for a family who will continue showing her how wonderful life can be.

Could Sugar be your perfect match? Included in her adoption fee is: microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and her spay scheduled through the rescue. Apply today!
