Seamus - Irish Setter and Golden Retriever Dog for Adoption in High Point, North Carolina

YOU MUST HAVE AN APPROVED APPLICATION IN ORDER TO MEET OUR PETS.

Seamus is a neutered 2.5 year old Irish Setter/Golden Retriever, purchased as a puppy. Seamus is a healthy 70 pounds, having regained weight after he had lost 30 pounds without proper nutrition when his prior home situation changed.

Seamus is an easy going guy who just wants to spend time with his humans.

Some of his favorite hobbies are cuddling, watching and chasing birds in the backyard, and showing you his favorite stuffed animal.

Seamus does well with other dogs (can be a little wild in his play style) and children. It is unknown how he reacts to cats.

Seamus is young and an active hunting breed, so he requires lots of exercise to keep him out of trouble and happy! A fenced yard would be wonderful for him.

He is very comfortable in the crate and has always crated when humans are not home. This practice would be a good idea in his new home as well.

Seamus has a solid recall and understands basic commands, but he could use some help with his leash manners.

He is already housetrained.

Seamus would be an amazing addition to any home and has brought so much love and joy into his foster's household.

Please note that we do not ship animals. We also require a home visit before finalizing any adoptions so preference is given to applicants within a 90 mile range. You will be required to come to High Point, NC to meet/pick up your new pet.

4. Save the application to your computer, then attach in an email and send to petprojectnc@gmail.com
5. Someone will review your application as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours, and will be in touch with next steps.
