DESCRIPTION
Koda is a 1.5-year-old husky mix that is full of life and energy. He graduated from our Making Pawsitive Changes Prison Program in June of this year and was a stellar student. Koda's intelligence shines through when you spend time with him. He learned "sit", "down", "shake" with both paws, "leave it", and "come". He is motivated most by food and is a dog that can learn lots of cool tricks if training is your hobby. In the program, Koda played well with a variety of dogs, male and female, large and small. He would do well in an environment that provides him with lots of mental and physical stimulation. He would make a great hiking or running buddy. Koda does still get excited and jump up sometimes- a home with teens and older may be best for this exuberant guy. If you would like to set up an appointment to meet Koda, call the shelter at 906 632 2519. Please call for the quickest response to inquiries as those submitted through FB, Petfinder, and email are not always closely monitored.
