Baxter and Chance - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan

Baxter and Chance came to us through no fault of their own after their owner passed away. Now, they’re looking for a new start together.

Baxter, the gold boy, is 4 years old, and Chance is 9. These two count on each other for comfort, and after losing the only home they knew, we would really love to keep them together.

They’ve recently been around cats and young children and have done well with both. They’ve already been through a big change in their lives, and now they just need someone willing to give them the security of a home again — together.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
