Foxy (20260909-02)
DOB: 11/11/2025 Estimated
Age: 10 months
Weight: 31-40 lbs
Spayed/Neutered: Not yet
Foxy is a beautiful girl who is discovering what it means to be loved. She hasn't had the best experiences with people and little socialization but this sweet girl is learning that gentle hands, patience and kindness are wonderful things. Foxy is sweet, energetic and playful, but she is still very much a puppy who needs guidance. When excited or overstimulated, she will jump up and can be mouthy so she’ll need continued manners training and someone who understands the Husky breed.
Foxy is initially shy around men but does very well with women. Because she can get overstimulated and mouthy dog-savvy children that are older would be the best fit. Foxy is learning all about life in a home. House training is a work in progress, and she is improving with her crate. She has only recently experienced walking on a leash and is doing well, although she still needs practice with pulling and distractions. She rides well in the car when crated.
This agile little girl can climb fences, so a secure yard and appropriate supervision are important. She is submissive to other dogs and would also benefit from living with a confident, well-socialized dog who can help guide her. Foxy needs an adopter who is willing to invest the time and energy to continue her training. Given patience, guidance and love she will blossom into the amazing dog she was always meant to be.
