Pepper - Hound Dog for Adoption

Pepper is as sweet as they come! She has never met a stranger and loves adults and children alike. She loves pets and jumping up in someone's lap. She is happy to snooze on your lap while watching TV. She also loves to play fetch and tug in the back yard. During the day she is either playing with the other dogs in the house or keeping herself busy by playing with a toy or bone.

She's potty trained and crate trained and sleeps thru the night in her kennel without making a peep. She's also very cat friendly and totally respects the cat in the household. She'll do just about anything for a treat, but takes them very gently. She isn't food aggressive and shares food and treats well.

She is eager to please and should be easy to train! Her favorite thing to do besides snuggle her people is to play in the pool or sprinkler!

She's about 25lbs and will stay roughly this size.

Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Our $295 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
