Say hello to Lime — the little green light of every room she walks into! Lime is high energy, hilarious, and completely irresistible. She has been living her best life in a foster home full of kids and bigger dogs, and she hasn't slowed down once. She loves roughhousing, being chased, and then flopping into someone's lap like she absolutely did not just cause chaos for the past 20 minutes. She is equally happy being carried around or sprinting across the yard — as long as her people are close, Lime is a happy girl.

We believe she's a beagle mix with possibly some Australian shepherd from mom's side, which means she's got the nose of an adventurer and the brain of a pup who needs to be kept busy and mentally stimulated. At 8 weeks old she is still figuring out the world, but she's already shown she's social, affectionate, and endlessly entertaining.

Lime's perfect match is someone who is ready to dive headfirst into puppy life — the good, the wild, and the wonderfully messy. She's making great progress on her potty pads, but she'll need a patient, consistent human to guide her through potty training, teething, and all the chewing that comes with it. Give her structure, love, and plenty of playtime, and Lime will reward you with a lifetime of laughter and loyalty.

Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Our $295 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
