Abyss is a 4-year-old happy-go-lucky Chow Chow with a goofy, fun-loving personality who loves being the center of attention.

He adores everyone he meets, especially children, and would thrive in an active, fun-filled home.

Abyss is potty trained and crate trained, though he does well without a crate.

He also gets along great with other dogs and is always ready for playtime and adventures.

Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Abyss’s adoption fee is $295.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.

These aloof yet loyal dogs are known for their independent nature, dignified demeanor, and protective instincts. Chow Chows require early socialization and training to thrive in a family setting, as they can be stubborn and territorial.
