Hi, Im Beckett.

I heard someone say I was found in the woods. Maybe I was supposed to be a hunting dog. Maybe I just wasn't very good at it. Or maybe I was simply the kind of boy who would rather follow people than rabbits.

Whatever happened before, I'm here now ready for a family!

I'm about a year old, just 35 pounds, so I'm the perfect smaller hound size. They think I'm a beagle/hound mix, which means I come with soulful eyes, a cute nose, and just enough hound curiosity to make life fun.

The people here keep telling me I'm friendly. I wag my tail when someone stops by my kennel because I still believe every new face could be my person. I haven't given up on that.

I'm up to date on all my vet care and ready to trade concrete floors for a couch, lonely nights for family movie nights, and the woods for a yard where I know Ill always find my way home.

I don't need a perfect family. I just need one that wont leave me behind again.

Rescue Coop is a registered 501c that saves dogs from imminent euthanasia and at risk situations and transports them directly to approved adopters nationwide. We are located in SC but in three years, we have placed 550 dogs in 28 states. We post our dogs in the areas we regularly transport to. Our adoption fee is $250 with no additional transport charges. Unfortunately we are unable to do meet and greets but our adoption coordinators strive to make excellent matches.
