Meet Roscoe — a 9-10 year old beagle boy with the heart of a puppy and the soul of a retired gentleman. At only 19 lbs, Roscoe has perfected the art of balancing couch potato life with surprise zoomies around the yard. One minute he’s snoozing in a cozy spot, the next he’s out doing important neighborhood sniff inspections with his tail wagging.

Roscoe is happy, friendly, and easy to love. He’s pup and cat friendly and would make the perfect companion for someone looking for a sweet little shadow — or a wonderful addition to an existing pack. He still enjoys exploring the yard, trotting around outside, and soaking up all the simple joys life has to offer.

If you’ve been looking for a low-key best friend with just the right amount of goofy energy, Roscoe may be your guy. Senior dogs have a special kind of magic, and Roscoe is full of it. ❤️

Rescue Coop is a registered 501c that saves dogs from imminent euthanasia and at risk situations and transports them directly to approved adopters nationwide. We are located in SC but in three years, we have placed 550 dogs in 28 states. We post our dogs in the areas we regularly transport to. Our adoption fee is $200 with no additional transport charges. Unfortunately we are unable to do meet and greets but our adoption coordinators strive to make excellent matches.
