The moment we've all been waiting for - Wynter is ready to find her forever family!

You may recall Wynter's journey with Zoe's House earlier this year. Wynter is a four year-old petite (8 ish lbs) havapoo (havanese & toy poodle!) who was selflessly surrendered to ACCT Philly when her owner could no longer afford to continue to try to find out what was wrong with Wynter. She was generally lethargic and experiencing lameness. Zoe's House stepped up to the plate and after seeing at least 6 different doctors and undergoing numerous tests and hospitalization, a diagnosis of an auto-immune disorder was made at Ryan Veterinary Hospital (Penn Vet). After undergoing a tapering dose of steroids, Wynter is finally starting to feel like herself! She runs and plays with her foster fur siblings but mostly she enjoys riding shotgun with foster mom. She is a true companion who thrives off the connection

Her forever family will need to continue to taper her steroid dose with the hope that she may be able to discontinue them for good. Wynter is crate trained though she prefers not to be. At night, she loves sleeping in bed with her family. She is a snuggler. She loves to be showered with love and attention. She walks well on a leash and is a wonderful travel companion.

Wynter has been spayed while in rescue care. She is up to date on vaccines and has been microchipped. She is being fostered in Collegeville, Montgomery County, and applicants should be prepared to travel to her foster home for adoption. A home visit and meet and greet is part of the application process.
