Hardy - Great Pyrenees and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Savage, Minnesota

Hello. My name is Hardy! I'm a calmer pup and 64 pounds. I have been told that I'm a master snuggler and like nothing more than being next to my people. I will admit that my foster sister has let me sleep with her the past couple of nights and I love that! I think I might like her a bit too much. What does "velcro dog" mean? I am missing my sister (Parsnip) a bit, but I hear that she is missing me, too, and adjusting to her life in foster care. I also do well with cats, though there isn't one at my current foster's house.

I don't have much experience walking on a leash, but I don't pull and enjoy looking at the big, wide world. And I really love seeing other dogs. They all look like potential playmates. I am still a puppy, so I'm learning what I can and can not chew in the house and found that shoes and socks are really interesting. I'm also still figuring out how to play with my foster sibling. She plays a little more intensely than I'm used to. I'm told I respond well to correction, like no jumping, but it's hard to contain my excitement sometimes. Therefore, I might be a bit much for smaller children.

I haven't had any accidents in the house and go out and do my business in my foster's fenced yard. I'm also working on kennel training. I don't mind going into my kennel, but haven't experienced being left home alone yet. I'm sure I can do it! We are going to try that later today.

I'm really hoping to find my forever family and I promise to love you be your faithful friend for always!

All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.
