Hello there! My name is Lenny, and I'm a 54-pound black lab mix looking for my forever family.

I'm about 2 years old and have mastered the art of being calm, sweet, and easygoing. Meeting new people? No problem! I'm happy to make new friends and greet everyone with my best manners (no jumping, just lots of wiggles). I haven't had a chance yet to meet kids, other dogs or cats, but I think I like everyone!

One of my favorite jobs is conducting daily security patrols of the backyard. I take perimeter checks very seriously and like to make several rounds each day to make sure everything is exactly as it should be in my foster mom's fenced backyard. Once my duties are complete, I can usually be found practicing my other specialty: napping. I consider myself an expert-level napper.

I also enjoy car rides and am always ready to hop in and see where the adventure leads. When we get home, my favorite reward is a good scratch behind the ears. Trust me, that's the sweet spot!

I'm potty trained, I sleep through the night, I know how to 'sit', and I'm working hard on my crate training. My foster mom says I'm a true gentleman because I'm kind, gentle, and have a calm presence that makes life easy and enjoyable.

All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.
