Gideon - Great Pyrenees and Golden Retriever Dog for Adoption in Pflugerville, Texas

Gideon has already earned himself the nickname Curious George — he spends his days sniffing out every new object in the yard, figuring out exactly how it works before deciding whether it's worth playing with.

Born around mid-June 2026, Gideon is a big-hearted, big-pawed puppy who watches the family's Great Dane and neighbor dogs through the fence and copies their every move. He's also a champion snuggler who loves giving kisses after a good round of exploring. He can be a bit defiant and is a little shy around men with deeper voices, so his next family should be ready for patient introductions and some consistent training — he's already making progress on potty training. He'll need a yard to explore and will be ready for leash walks as he grows. Given his Great Pyrenees and Golden Retriever mix, he's expected to grow into a large adult, and he's up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations.
