Peanut is a small dog who never got the memo that she's small. Put her next to a 90-pound dog and she'll throw herself into the wrestling match like they're perfectly matched — fearless, feisty, and completely convinced she's the one in charge.
This pug has done well with every dog she's met and genuinely lights up when she's got a playmate to chase, wrestle, and keep up with her energy. She tends to be the confident, slightly bossy one in the mix, so she's looking for a fellow playful, high-energy dog who can hold their own.
Peanut is also a total lover. She wants to be held, snuggled, and included in everything — and she's obsessed with her toys, happy to entertain herself for hours when she's not busy being the center of attention. Once she's settled into her new home and earned a little trust, she'd make a wonderful bed buddy too.
She's high energy through and through — always ready to play, explore, and get involved — so a securely fenced yard is ideal. She's potty trained with a solid foundation, crate trained and comfortable overnight or when left alone, and doing well on leash while she continues working on pulling. Given how mouthy and playful she gets during play, Peanut would do best in a home without young kids or cats.
Peanut isn't quiet or low-maintenance — she's energetic, vocal, curious, opinionated, and an absolute goofball. She's also fearless, funny, deeply affectionate, and completely devoted to her people and her toys. If you want a tiny dog with a huge personality and a serious talent for snuggling, Peanut might be your girl.
