DESCRIPTION

Our adoption application can be found at the bottom of this pets bio. Once your application has been approved, we can arrange a virtual meet & greet with you and Sully.

Sully is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX and is eligible to transport to an adopter as soon as one is lined up.

Meet Sully!

Sully is a 2 year old male Great Pyrenees who currently weighs 73 pounds. Sully was found as a stray in an area that is very well known as a dumping ground for dogs. We cant imagine why anyone would dump Sully because he truly is perfection. Sully is fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered and ready to find his forever home.

Sully is incredibly dog friendly and currently lives with multiple dogs in his foster home of all ages and sizes. We would say that he's got a moderate energy level. He enjoys playing, but will also happily cuddle up for snuggles. He's also attended doggie daycare and really enjoyed meeting new friends and getting his energy out.

Sully has not officially been cat tested, but were happy to cat test him for any serious potential adopters with cats. He currently lives with a Chihuahua that he enjoys snuggling with, so were sure he would be gentle.

Sully is truly a gentle giant. He's been around teenage children and is always great with them. Temperament wise, he is so gentle, but he is a big boy and clumsy, so we would suggest a home with children ages 8+ just due to his size.

Sully walks great on a leash! He gets excited initially a will pull (just slightly) but then he settles in and walks calmly by your side for the duration of the walk.

Sully is fully potty trained! Sully is not a huge fan of the crate, but he does great if left to free roam! His foster mom works 8 hour days and he just naps on the couch until she returns home.

Sully is great about sharing his food, toys and treats with other dogs.

Here's a blurb about Sully from his foster mom:

If I had to describe Sully using only 2 words, they would be gentle giant. He has the most easy going, friendly personality. He just wants to give and receive affection. He's so happy to just go with the flow of whatever you're doing, as long as he's included. Sully is the most friendly and social boy! He has never met a stranger and loves EVERYONE! He is so adaptable and adjusted to our schedule here very quickly. He loves playing with other dogs (big and small) and enjoys rolling around and playing tug-o-war. He currently lives in a low moderate energy level home, but he would make for a great adventure buddy! He is happy-go-lucky, loves car rides and overall, is just a wonderful pup!

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity.
